Connect your AI assistant to BoKalk
BoKalk has an MCP layer so your AI assistant can calculate housing costs with BoKalk's rules. The assistant calculates on the information you type in the conversation. It cannot read, change, or save your objects and household in BoKalk — each calculation instead returns a link that carries the property's details into the app, where the calculation is redone with your household.
Status 2026-10-02: the connection is not open to the public yet.
The MCP server does not accept connections today. The address and instructions below apply once the server opens. This page will be updated then.
What you get
Your AI assistant can calculate housing costs with the same rules as the BoKalk app: what a property costs per month, what the household can afford, how much is left to live on (KALP), what happens if the interest rate rises, and how several properties compare. No login is needed.
- calculate_property — monthly cost with line items, cash needed, and KALP for a property.
- max_affordable_price — highest price and which constraint applies.
- stress_test — monthly cost at a higher interest rate.
- compare_properties — several properties ranked by monthly cost.
- get_reference_data — interest rates, caps, and defaults with version and source.
Connect once the connection has opened
Server address (no login needed):
https://mcp.bokalk.se/mcp - ChatGPT. Add BoKalk from the plugin directory once it is listed there.
- Claude (web and app). Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector. Paste the address and click Connect.
- Claude Code.
claude mcp add --transport http bokalk https://mcp.bokalk.se/mcp - Other assistants. Enter the same address as an MCP server with Streamable HTTP transport.
The instructions apply once the connection opens. Until then, the server rejects connection attempts.

- "What does a condominium for 3,200,000 SEK with a 4,850 SEK monthly fee cost if we earn 38,000 and 34,000 SEK before tax?"
- "What can we afford if we have 600,000 SEK saved?"
- "How does the monthly cost change if the interest rate rises by two percentage points?"
- "Compare these two listings."
About the results
The calculations follow BoKalk's rules and reference data. The answer states which assumptions were made and which version of the reference data was used. These are example calculations, not financial advice. The assistant's own conclusions are outside BoKalk's responsibility.
Privacy
What you write in the conversation is processed by the assistant's provider (for example OpenAI or Anthropic) under its terms. The assistant sends the data the calculation needs to BoKalk's server, for example price, fee, income, and savings. The server calculates and answers without saving the data. BoKalk logs which tool was called, whether it succeeded, and how long it took — never the content of the call. The server requires no account.
